GROTON SPORTSMENíS CLUB
Fellow Club Members
Under our new areas of responsibility we would appreciate your further efforts in reporting items for Sunshine Committee action.
As before, if you know of a club member who has been hospitalized, or suffered a tragic loss, please contact the Sunshine Committee.
If you know of a club member who has had a major achievement or milestone of a general interest to the club as a whole, that you feel should be recognized by his fellow members, such as member weddings, direct descendent births, job retirement, or other significant joyous occasion, contact the Sunshine Committee. We will hand route a congratulatory greeting card(s) to the club membership for their endorsements, and then we will forward the card(s) to the member to be recognized.
Please be prepared to provide us with as much information as you have available. Information usually needed would be items such as the full name, telephone number, and address of the person being reported upon, what hospital, admission date, release date, general description of the malady or loss, and the name and telephone number of the person making the report.

Contacting the Sunshine Committee
Chairman: Rich Giudice
PHONE# (401) 741-2148
These are the only methods to be used in contacting the Sunshine Committee. POSTING ON THE CHALK BOARD OR THE BULLETIN BOARD IS OKAY FOR GENERAL PASSING OF THE INFORMATION BUT NOT FOR CONTACTING THE COMMITTEE. In the past there were occasions of excessive time lost due to the fact the information was posted in a timely manner but THE COMMITTEE DID NOT SEE IT FOR SOME TIME. We need the direct contact to make a timely response.
Thanks for your help!
