Fishing starts for the kids at 10 am and ends at noon so we can hand out the trophies and prizes. First fish and the largest fish caught will be awarded a trophy. Every child gets a GSC participation trophy and a ticket with which they can pick a prize out to take home!

The pond will be closed for fishing after the stocking May 11^th until 5:00 PM on the 13^th (14^th if rain out on 13^th) for Voluntown Youth Services Bureau (VYSB) youth fishing derby

We are working with the Voluntown Youth Services Bureau (VYSB) hosting a youth fishing derby on May 13, (May 14 rain date) at the North Stonington/Voluntown pond from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. This is an outreach program to Voluntown school children, grades 1 through 8 (20 – 30 students).

The pond will be closed for fishing after the stocking May 12^th until 5:00 PM on the 13^th (14^th if rain out on 13^th)
